MEET OUR NEW CHEF

Chef John Elliot brings to Crazy Bear 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He has earned his culinary experience under the guidance of some highly seasoned chefs at a number of four-star venues. He has shared his passion and vigor in the kitchen at such establishments as Porter’s Prime Steakhouse, Misty’s and the Smokehouse at Ponte Winery as well as being Chef de Cuisine for the Hilton Hotel Corporation.

A native of New Jersey where large family gatherings became the culinary inspiration for John, he brings a fresh and innovative style to the kitchen. John was voted one of Dinner Table’s Best Chef’s in 2013 by Dinner Table Magazine and is respected for his commitment and success in creating seasonal dishes utilizing sustainable produce and seafood.

John resides in Newark, Delaware with his wife and two kids enjoying the simple things in life such as fishing and growing his own vegetable and herbs. We are excited to have John join the Crazy Bear family.
